For the most part, this is a horrible cinematic work under the genre of “sex comedy”, but Clark Duke (of the excellent “Clark and Michael”) singlehandedly keeps the viewer from feeling Intense Exsistential Despair. It is this rare mix of comic sophistication and utter trashiness that lets this movie get away with playing MGMT’s “Time to Pretend” over a driving montage before cutting to a Fall Out Boy concert.
